Definitions
Function: A relation where there is specifically one output for every input and no more than one.
Domain: A set of all possible numbers that can be the input of a certain function.
Range: The set of all possible numbers that can be the output in a certain function.
Vertex: The point of a function that has the maximum curvature, or the point where the to rays of the function meet.
Even Function: A function where 'f(x)' is equal to 'f(-x)'. In other words, a function where you can input 'x' or '-x' and come out with the same answer.
Odd function: A function where 'f(-x)' is equal to '-f(x)'. In other words, a function where you can insert 'x' and '-x' and come out with opposite answers, like 5 and -5.
Neither Function: A function that does not apply to 'f(x) = f(-x)' or 'f(-x) = -f(x)'.
Translation: When a graph of a function or geometric figure is moved to any other point on the graph.
Reflection: When a graph or geometric figure is flipped along an axis, creating a mirror image.
Rotation: When a graph or geometric figure is turned around a fixed center point.
